Het Golden Arrow Technical Diving Center werd in 1999 opgericht door Denis Bourret.

Golden Arrow is vanaf het begin een pionier onder de duikscholen in de DR. Het was het eerste duikcentrum dat in 1999 grotduiken introduceerde, en het eerste dat EANx/Nitrox-duiken aan de noordkust leerde. Het was ook de eerste school die Trimix-cursussen aanbood in 2002, en de eerste school die CCR/Rebreather gaf in 2008.

Tegenwoordig is de Golden Arrow nog steeds het enige duikcentrum dat het hele duikaanbod in het land aanbiedt, van Open Water Diver tot technisch duikinstructeur.
