The Swizzle Inn Pub & Restaurant is one of Bermuda’s most iconic dining destinations and proudly holds the title of Bermuda’s oldest pub. Located on Blue Hole Hill in Hamilton Parish, this historic and character-filled establishment is famous for its relaxed island atmosphere, hearty food, lively entertainment, and, most importantly, the original Rum Swizzle.
The Swizzle Inn is closely associated with Bermuda’s national cocktail, which was created at the pub in 1932. Guests can enjoy the signature Rum Swizzle by the glass or pitcher while soaking up the pub’s distinctive atmosphere. The walls are covered with personal messages, business cards, and memorabilia, creating a wonderfully informal setting that reflects decades of visitors and local tradition.
The food menu offers a wide variety of favorites, including Bermuda fish chowder, fish and chips, wahoo dishes, burgers, wings, nachos, bangers and mash, ribs, salads, and vegetarian options. Entertainment is another major attraction, with live music offered seasonally from April through October, weekly Thursday trivia, and five HD screens for watching major sporting events.
