We were originally founded in 1996 by Carlos Medrano in the Dominican Republic. His vision was to provide travelers with the best local cultural experiences. The company's original name was Bavaro Runners, with its primary operations in the Punta Cana area. Due to the company's success, we have grown into a multi-destination operation, currently serving Puerto Plata, Samaná, Juan Dolio, Boca Chica, La Romana, Bayahibe, and Punta Cana.

We are the undisputed industry leaders and in 2017, we were voted Best Adventure Travel Company in the Dominican Republic for the second consecutive year by Luxury Travel Guide magazine. For over 10 years, we have been recognized by TripAdvisor with Certificates of Excellence for our outstanding service on all our tours, making us members of its Hall of Fame.

In 2015, 2016, and 2017, we obtained the Safety Certification from the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) for our zip line excursions in Punta Cana, La Romana, Puerto Plata, and Samaná.
