As a shining star, Hacienda 8A is born from a centennial and deep family tradition! Since the 1930's the Roig family professed a passion for horses, especially the Paso Fino horse. This family distinguished themselves for the quality of their horses, several of them being champions in their time. With the passage of time, the Roig family is united with the Ochoa family and the product of this unity is Hacienda 8A.

Ideal for domestic tourism and enjoying the countryside of our island, we offer 300 acres for horseback riding, and hiking in the countryside town of Las Piedras, just at the foot of El Yunque rainforest.

There are several stabling facilities, beautiful rustic ranch activities, birthdays, and corporate activities. It has a spectacular view and your visit will be unforgettable!

FAQ's

We are located in Las Piedras, about 45 min to an hour from San Juan. Please use Google Maps as it is the ONLY GPS that will take you directly to us. Search "Hacienda 8A" in Google Maps and it will take you directly to the main gate.

It is recommended to use long pants and closed shoes. There is a possibility that you will get dirty depending on the weather, so bring some clothes you don't mind getting dirty in!

Absolutely! Even if you have no experience riding, our tours are beginner friendly and we will teach you the basics before getting started.

Our tours are available in English and Spanish.
